No data connection while on phone.
When I am on call, my screen turns off and Juicedefender cuts off the data. This would be fine except for some reason, when i hang up, my phone wont hangup till a data connection is reestablished. So sometimes I end up leaving blank voice mails since the phone continues even after i press end call. So is there a way to disable the data cutoff when i am on phone? i tried to use the Apps feature but it doesn't have 'Phone' as an option.
I am using Juice Defender Ultimate on T-mobile G2x.

Ok thats a weird “bug”
Does this happen when JD is not installed (not active) ?
Data cutoff is managed by android. -
Configured Apps Problems
I was looking through my JD logs recently, and I'm finding that JD is allowing several of the apps I have configured as "enable" to activate connectivity, even when they are not running. For example, these are entries from the log I saved earlier today:

The problem with “running” apps is that the Android OS does not always label apps correctly.. This usually effects the apps trigger in a different way though: Apps that are visible will not be recognized..
Have you tried our latest beta?

Wifi Trouble When Reenabled
I'm running a stock Photon 4G running Android 2.3.4 with JD Ultimate beta v3.6.6
When I'm at my home on the home Wifi network (a known location - fully trained in JD), when I turn on the screen, Wifi tries to connect, but simply hangs. I go into the network settings and the Wifi status says "Obtaining IP Address..." but it doesn't include from where.
It's not until I disable Wifi and reenable it, does it say "Obtaining IP Address from [my home network]" and I get a Wifi connection.
If I do not do that second part, the Wifi… more

Hey there,
so life needs to be online all the time? In this case JD can not save you as much juice, because mobile data has to be on almost constantly.
Or does Life only need mobile data when you open the app (thats what the apps trigger is usually for)
You might try what is mentioned here:

The UI is inconsistent and confusing
I do not understand the UI. Some buttons are blue, some are green, some are red, light great, dark gray, etc. Them, some are outlined in colors. Some work like radios, some checkers, some dimly work at all.
I have not found any explanation what the various colors mean.
Although the design is visually attractive, it's not providing use clues and it didn't follow existing conventions for buttoni widgets. As a result, the powerful and highly configurable program is much more difficult to use than it should be.
I wish buttons were designed to follow common standards, and documentation discussed… more

Network status widget not displaying the right info
I have an Atrix with JD Ultimate (rooted, AOSP helper installed), and although the 2G/3G widget works perfectly, it doesn't display the network status correctly (it stays in 3G despite the fact I had changed to 2G). As it's working well, it's more a matter of not displaying the correct info, and I hope you can fix it without too much trouble. Great app, by the way! Anyway, why is the network status config available just in the beta version?

Hey,
what do you mean it could be a problem from your battery?
The first thing to try is to proceed as follows:- uninstall JuiceDefender and Plus/Ultimate if you purchased them: home/menu/settings/applications/manage applications/(find JuiceDefender)/uninstall
- reboot your phone (turn it off then on again)
- reinstall JuiceDefender: search for it in the Market app or click this link: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.latedroid.juicedefender
- if you purchased it, reinstall Ultimate: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.latedroid.ultimatejuice
- or, if you purchased Plus: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.latedroid.juicedefender.plus
If the problem persists, try JuiceDefender beta, as it usually contains several specific fixes over the stable version:
- uninstall JuiceDefender
- install the latest JuiceDefender beta: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.latedroid.juicedefender.beta
Additionally, it might occasionally happen that your configuration gets corrupted or anyway unusable; to solve this:
- uninstall JuiceDefender
- delete the JuiceDefender.backup file in your “Download” folder on your SDcard.
- reinstall JuiceDefender, do NOT restore your settings

Ultimate does not recognize any apps other than juice defender
In ultimate, none of the configured apps are being recognized. It also isn't picking up anything even though the interactive option is selected. The only program that is ever noticed in the drop down notification area is Juice Defender, in parentheses. Since no other app is ever recognized in this area, data is always disabled.
For example, the only thing JD ever says in the notification area is: Data off (Juice Defender)Opening market, dolphin browser, or any other app does not work or even show up. It doesn't matter if I preconfigure it and give it access or let… more

Night schedule
Hello there, I've set up the night schedule and it works correctly as JD states on its log. However from my phone carrier data/call logs I see that just every 15m I get a data connection all night long! Could it be the backgroud sync feature of JD? But what's the point of syncing if I do want the data connection off during the night? Thank you.

App control to disable data not working properly
Hello there. I've setup the app configuration for the game "Virtual table tennis" to switch off the connectivity when the game it's running. However I still see the ads banner ingame. In fact looking at the JD log I see that the app trigger starts correctly (force-disable app running), but JD detects incoming traffic (from the game ads, no other data connectivity ongoing) so it states "data traffic detected, dalaying disable". So...what's the point of force disabling if JD detects incoming ads data traffic hence avoid disabling?? Thank you.

Battery Draining Overnight Once a Week Between Monday and Tuesday
I'm running JD on my Android Galaxy II Epic Touch. Between every Monday evening and Tuesday morning the battary completely drains. Every other night it maintains its charge. I'm using the night function of JD. Any idea what could be causing this once a week problem?

MLB at-bat 2011
i've been using the same settings for a while now, and do use location-based wifi, and everything's been great. however mlb at-bat updated last week and now the audio stream stops immediately after the screen turns off. this never used to be the case. it is set as enable/screen off, and hasnt been changed since it was working. disabling JD lets the app stream to its heart's content, but JD, or something, keeps killing the stream instantly when the screen goes black. what's odd is that the stream buffers quite a bit of time ahead. i can stream via wifi… more

Hmm thats wired that JD notices the app running, does not disconnect wifi but your app quits working..
I had this issue with my Nexus One:
Try to “ping” your device then turn the screen off. The ping times dramatically increase, meaning wifi connections is alot worse with the screen off..
But if you did not have the problem
What happens if you disable jd and turn the screen off? Does that work? -
doesnt keep data cut off
This app doesn't cut my data off like it used to since the last two updates. I've uninstalled it rebooted my phone then reinstalled it and that didn't work. When I first bought it, it worked perfect. Sometimes I cut my screen on and my data is on instead of being off. Droid bionic 2.3.4. Juice defender ultimate 3.8.0. I have to turn my screen off for a minute and then turn it back on everytime for the red dot to come up on the shield in my notification bar to make sure it cuts my data off.

JD Ultimate doesn't start/JVU
I updated JDU and after that it refuses to start. It claims to be 'destroyed' by the system. Running Darky's JVU on SGS. How to fix it?
I could start trying with JD beta, but since I have my money on the Ultimate, I'd very much like to use it.
