@Jen
What’s causing this battery drain? JD? Or other app?

"Data off: User" - Connection remains disabled even turning off JD
On screen unlock/schedule/etc JD won't turn mobile data back on. The notification/widget/log says "Data off: user" or variants thereof. But I didn't disable mobile data!

1) We’re talking about the “data disabled by user” issue here. How to know if that’s the problem you’re having? Check the notification/widget/log – does it say “Data off: user” (or graphical variants)?
2) Make sure this is NOT caused by a) you explicitly disabling mobile data via Android settings/widgets/etc. nor b) you inadvertently tapping on JuiceDefender’s widgets nor c) another app (either via JD’s API or on its own)
3) Do whatever steps are necessary to replicate the issue (i.e. to make JD come up with “data off: user”)
4) send the log immediately afterwards (mention “data off: user” in the email)If there’s no connection, but you see “data on: something”: that’s an entirely different problem, which is
1) due to your carrier (it refuses to reconnect you for some reason) – not JD
2) rarely and randomly occurring
3) usually fixable by cycling airplane mode off and… more -
JD Disables Data Connectivity (3G). Requires restart to fix. [Nexus Galaxy]
I am in an area that does not have LTE service yet. So far it has happened when the battery level is high (over 50%)...probably would happen at low levels too. It happens randomly...I can have things working for several hours or several minutes before services are interupted/stopped. A reboot is required to fix. This seems very similar to reports posted for the LG Revolution. I am running Juice Defender Ultimate v. 3.8.0

HTC Sense UI crashes when I attempt to add JD Ultimate to the desktop
Had JD, liked it, bought the ultimate upgrade, but whenever I try to add the app shortcut to the desktop, it crashes the UI instantly (This didn't happen with the free version).

night schedule-airplane/silent/vibrate
I have the Night Schedule enabled, but I can't seem to enable airplane, silent, or vibrate modes. I can select one of these (it turns "blue"), but after closing the GUI and going back in the option is unselected. I'm using the 3.6.1 beta with JD Plus (3.5.6 from the Market).

Can you please uninstall JD+Jd+, reboot, install the apps again, reboot, try to use the night mode. Does that work?

Location trigger based on CellID only
It would be nice to have a location based trigger which only depends on the GSM cell id not using any Google network location services.
E.g. WLAN is only active if the current GSM cell id is the one the phone always sees when I’m at home or at work (same for bluetooth if available soon)
The same way like the Llame app does.
The advantage is that I don’t need to switch on the network location service which may consume battery and produce network traffic.24 votesstarted ·

Well, the cell ID is the “basis” condition already. The network location provider is used to give much greater accuracy, but if you’re not using the right cell ID the check is skipped entirely. But I guess Location won’t work at all if the network provider is disabled in Android settings; I’m really not sure – can somebody let me know?
And: good idea for bluetooth! Make sure to mention it on the bluetooth thread! -
Laggy screen and no connection
I'm having this issue lately. When I activate Juice Defender Ultimate, sooner or later (end of the day tops) my phone will become very unresponsive, with a leggy screen and no connection at all (3G and Wi-Fi). I'm sure there is something conflicting with it as before a factory reset it was working quite fine. The same behavior occurs with a free edition of "green power" so I'm pretty sure it's something common between both. After the reset I have a minimum set of programs installed on my Milestone 2, the fancier is Go Launcher. Please, if you have any… more

[Request]Restore wifi regulatory domain on enable
I'm using JuiceDefender on a HTC Desire with Cyanogenmod 7 and need to connect to a wifi network using channel 13 (which is legal here).
I can change the "Regulatory Domain" in wifi settings (under advanced) to 13 channels, and are able to connect.
However, this option does not persist after JuiceDefender kills the radio. Not only is changing this option every time annoying, but the wifi chews up battery trying to connect.
I understand that this is probably more of a Android limitation, but such a feature in JuiceDefender would be greatly appreciated.

data not always enabled during schedule start
I've noticed that in my activity log, it doesn't always say "connected:mobile" or "data enabled" during the scheduled start. For example, my log currently says:
1:45pm Schedule start
1:30pm Schedule start
1:15pm Data enabled
1:15pm Schedule start
1:02pm Disconnected
1:01pm Data disabled
1:01pm Schedule stop
1:00pm Connected:mobile
1:00pm Data enabled
1:00pm Schedule StartAs you can see, it seems to have worked correctly at 1pm, but 1:15pm, 1:30pm, and 1:45pm don't have the same logs.
Any ideas?

Wifi stays switched on even if the screen is off for a long time
I experience quite often that the Wifi stays switched on even though the display is switched off for a long time -- at least +15mins (which is the Android timeout on my HTC) -- and the result of that is, that JuiceDefender is actually a JuiceExhauster

[Request] Toast notification whenever JD enables/disables WiFi/Airplane/Data?
Can we have an option to have a toast notification (a-la Superuser - "xApplication has been granted Superuser permissions") whenever JD does any of the above so that we can have a more obvious visual cue than a small dot/text in the (optional) notification?

Incredible 2 with Gingerbread (2.3.3) and data does not automatically turn on when phone is unlocked
Running Juice Defender Ultimate 3.5.6 on Incredible 2 with Gingerbread (2.3.3) and when I lock the phone, the mobile data turns itself off, however when I unlock the phone, the mobile data does not turn itself back on. I have to manually turn the mobile data back. I have tried letting Juice Defender manage the mobile data for me, and it still won't turn back on. Any ideas?

3G not working with JD installed
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S phone on the Orange network. I noticed recently that when Juice Defender was installed I could not use my 3G. Wifi was unaffected and worked as normal.
When I tried to turn on mobile data it would turn on and the 3G icon would look like its sending and recieving data packets. But after 3-4 seconds the icon would disappear and mobile data would once again be switched off.
Upon uninstalling it, the 3G connectivity came back. Thinking it was a setting error on my behalf, I tried reinstalling JD and keeping it… more

Screebl support
When using JD screen timeouts with Screebl the logics appear to conflict. There either needs to be a way to manage screen timeouts so that other applications wont cause conflicts or (preferred) implement similar function to JD directly
