JD Disables Data Connectivity (3G). Requires restart to fix. [Nexus Galaxy]
I am in an area that does not have LTE service yet. So far it has happened when the battery level is high (over 50%)...probably would happen at low levels too. It happens randomly...I can have things working for several hours or several minutes before services are interupted/stopped. A reboot is required to fix. This seems very similar to reports posted for the LG Revolution. I am running Juice Defender Ultimate v. 3.8.0
Can you please
a) try our latest beta from the market
b) reproduce the problem then send a log via JD (help tab) and include “breece” in the subject of the mail and a short description of the problem in the mail itself)
Thanks

The problem is not JD. I have the same problem and tested other apps the disable data. Disabling data with an app for a period of time and data will not return when re-enabled. The time require for this to occur is variable. The only fixes I have found are toggling airplane mode on then off or rebooting.

As unfortunate as it is, I too am having this issue. I am in a non-LTE area. When sending the log, is it easier to do so right after having this issue, or does it even matter?
Thanks

I am having the same issues with the cdma only selected and also when I travel to 4G areas. I un-installed Juice Defender Ultimate and the problem went away. Now my problem is my battery dies quicker. Please fix this issue. I am using Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4.0.2 ICS with Verizon unlimited Data plan

Same problem on galaxy nexus. I have cdma only selected, but sometimes when I wake the phone I cannot get data back without a reboot. Happens every day, several times a day.

Hello, I think I know what is going on. Juice Defender is selecting the incorrect network mode after the phone wakes up. With my ROM, (Android Revolution), it is selecting WCDMA instead of LTE/CDMA. Juice Defender seems to hold control of the settings so no amount of airplane mode or selecting the other network will work. However, if I disableJuice Defender, I can then go into airplane mode, come out of it, and reselect LTE/CDMA. Then I get an active data connection again. Juice Defender seems to enable correctly after this until the next time the phone sleeps and attempts to disable LTE. I will try to send you some logs with more detailed information so hopefully you can figure out the correct codes to switch to after the phone wakes.

i thought i would add my experience to this too, hopefully to help in any way i can. i too have a galaxy nexus running 4.0.2 and jd ultimate. jd works as it should if i go into my phones settings and change the preferred network to coma only. it will disconnect from data when my phone is off and either wifi or 3g, depending on what is available. but if i enable the let/cdma network in my settings, once my wifi connection is out of range, the phone will not connect to any mobile data, 3g or 4g. toggling the airplane mode or turning mobile data on and off in my phone settings will not reestablish a connection. the only way to get data back is to completely reboot my phone or change the network over to coma only again.

From your log hjl everything looks "normal" to me? A manual toggle of the airplane mode does not help at all?

Also happening on my Galaxy Nexus, in areas with either/or 4g & 3g service so it seems independent of which radio is being used. Seems like other users are sending logs so I'll await a fix.
