UPDATE: v3.6.8 is out (latestdev) with a brand new Location algorithm. For the sake of testing, please clear all your locations (or try the new view/auto-reset) and restart from scratch :)
Training works as before (conceptually) but the uber-expansion should be prevented in most cases.

Ah, that’s interesting! (@Bubo)
This is what I mean by “location gets polluted by stray readings” – for whatever reason (ahem radio firmware bugs) the normal cell kicks out the phone, which then connects, even if for only a couple of seconds, to a cell much farther away; in the long term this will result in pitiful Location accuracy. So, some possible ways to circumvent this:
- have an option to set lat/lon/accuracy manually
- have a manual ‘freeze’ button for each location that would prevent further “expansion”
- have a global “max radius” option for all locations
-… more

Just got the new beta running on the newly leaked (588) Gingerbread. Will send logs after 24hrs of use.

Using the GB leak on my DX I've notice that the Google Location Services is causing some issues (wildly inaccurate location fixes ... by zip codes) within my GPS settings. Of course if JD-U(b) 3.5.0 can't determine my location it can't train or even turn on Wifi.
Since the new leak for GB came out yesterday ... I'm waiting for a rooted port on that and will y'all know if there are any improvements. A new baseband is supposedly included ... dunno if that will help fix things but we'll see.

Wifi is staying "off" even if I had turned it on.
Example: at home, with WIFI -found setting off - manually turned it on. Went to work - where I already trained it to turn on for WIFI - found it off - manually turned it on.
Went back home - still have to manually turn on WIFI. Went back to work - IT WORK THAT TIME. Went back home ... no joy.
Any help/suggestions?

Sent logs last night. Got to work this morning and it didn't connect to Wifi so I cleared and I'm retraining again. Will give it another couple days. Also just grabbed 3.5.4 (was running .2)
